This excellent documentary by French film maker Ludovic Segarra, describes the history of a tragedy. Composed of exceptional scenes, the film (56 min) includes some old footage of Tibet and goes back to 1938 to the Sheffer mission sent by the German Third Reich. It definitely brings to light the tragedy of a people’s culture and civilization in a process of being destroyed secretly and silently—as the commentary says—over the past 58 years, that is since 1950, when that faraway and mysterious Country was invaded by the army of The People’s Republic of China.
