Tenzin Choeden |
Another Tibetan monk, the 19-year-old Lobsang Gyatso, from Kirti Monastery has set himself on fire in Ngaba Town, in south-western China, say
Free Tibet and the International Campaign for Tibet (
ICT). He is the second teenager to set himself on fire in Ngaba in the last three days, following
Tenzin Choeden, who died last Saturday. (See also
here and
here).
In the last year, at least 21 young Tibetans have died the same way.

China IS CRAZY .THEY HAVE SO MUCH CENSORSHIP IN EVERY THING.
ReplyDeleteWELL I GAVE YOU AN AWARD, ROB .
There is a terribly chilling contrast between such appalling, infernal, individual sacrifice and the cold, callous indifference of the Chinese authorities.
ReplyDeleteThen with horror one realises that as more and more young Tibetans take their own lives in such an atrocious way, there is also the risk that such indifference isn't only limited to the Chinese authorities..
